Children flying without a parent or legal guardian are classified as
Unaccompanied Minors (UMs). If your child is traveling alone under this service,
please ensure all safety measures are followed for a smooth and secure journey.
Qatar Airways Unaccompanied Minors Policy:
• Ages 6–11 (International Flights): Service is mandatory if traveling without
an adult aged 15 or older.
• Ages 5–11 (Domestic Flights): Service is compulsory.
• Ages 12–15: Service is optional but available upon request.
• Under 5 years: Must be accompanied by a Qatar Airways representative.
Airlines may request official proof of age for any child.
Bookings for unaccompanied minors cannot be made online as special arrangements
are required—contact Qatar Airways directly by phone or visit a ticket office.
