ensure a smooth journey, it is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 3
hours prior to departure for international flights.
Online and Mobile Check-in
United Airlines offers online and mobile app check-in starting 24 hours prior to
departure. Passengers can choose seats, purchase additional baggage, and obtain
a digital boarding pass—helping streamline the airport experience and save time.
Airport Check-in Counters
For passengers choosing to check in at the airport, United’s staffed counters
generally open 3 hours prior to scheduled departure and close 1 hour before the
flight. Completing check-in and baggage drop early is recommended to avoid
delays, particularly during peak travel times.
Self-Service Kiosks
Several major Indian airports provide self-service kiosks for check-in and bag
tag printing. These are especially convenient for passengers who have completed
online check-in but still need to drop off their baggage.
Required Documents

Baggage Drop and Security
