Gangahaja
Gangahaja, a major site of tourist interest in Bhavnagar, is a temple
dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The temple along with the entire temple premise
is made of white marbles. The shrine of Gangadevi was built in 1893 under
the patronage of Takhtsinghji, a maharaja of the city of Bhavnagar.
The temple was built to pay honour to Maharani Majirajba. The temple
designed by Sir John Griffits, attracts tourists many tourists.
Getting There
The city is well connected with the rail lines to all major cities and towns
so people will not face any difficulty in reaching the place smoothly and
comfortably.
Bhavnagar is well connected by road to all major cities. Various types of
buses like Luxury, volvo buses, tourist buses, private buses and state buses

(196 km), Surat (360 km) and Rajkot (174 km) can easily reached by road.
