Jubiliee Park

One of the biggest parks in the country, the Jubilee Park is spread on a sprawling campus of 237.75 acres. The park was inaugurated in the year 1956 including lush green landscape, an amusement park, skating ring and a horticulture garden which contains a wide variety of plant species.

The park is a haven for nature enthusiasts being in a highly industrialized city of Jamshedpur and the landscape is complete with a various kind flowers and trees.

Jubilee Park is also known as Moghul Garden and is built as a replica of the Brindavan Garden in Bangalore.

 

The Tata Steel Zoological Park and Russi Modi Centre of Excellence are situated in the Jubilee Park.


Getting There

Jamshedpur is well connected to the rest of Jharkhand by roadways.

Jamshedpur possesses one of the major railway stations acknowledged as Tatanagar. Therefore, the city has a good connectivity with other main metropolis of India.

Sonari Airport is the nearest airport that is situated at distance of about 5 km from Jamshedpur city center. Currently, the airport has no scheduled commercial airline flights. Birsa Munda Airport at Ranchi is the nearest domestic airport to Jamshedpur, it is located around 130 km via NH43.
