Two large tombs honour Nawab Sa'adat Ali Khan (1798-1814) and his wife
Begum Khurshidzadi. The tombs are next to each other and can only be
viewed from the outside and stand near the historical Begum Hazrat Mahal
Park.
Tombs of
Sa'adat Ali Khan and the Begum in Lucknow is one of the most prominent
and beautiful sites. These are famous twin maqbaras. Dedicated to Saadat
Ali Khan and Khurshid Zadi, this site of architectural brilliance is
renowned for exemplifying Avadh structural patterns.
