Samudrika Marine Museum

With the solitary aim of creating awareness on ecological balance, especially oceanic environment, Samudrika Marine Museum acts as a central attraction for tourists. Take a walk inside and enjoy the fascinating and colourful displays of underwater life-shells, corals and more, indigenous to this region.

Though it primarily aims to educate the masses about the marine ecosystem, it also touches upon the history, geography and anthropology of Andaman. The museum is divided into five sections focusing on the history of the Andaman Islands, marine life, geography of the region, archaeology, and the customs and culture of the natives. The museum is maintained by the Indian Navy.
