Main mode of transport to Tura is
by road. Tura is situated in the western
part of Meghalaya which is quite close to the National Border of Bangladesh.

Airport. From Guwahati, it is 221 km, through the National Highway 51
(NH51).
Day time Sumo and overnight bus services are available form Guwahati. There
is a 3 times a week helicopter service available from Guwahati and Shillong,
run by Pawan Hans.

Guwahati Airport, located in Guwahati, 199 km northeast of Tura. It is
about four hours
drive to Guwahati Airport from Tura
via NH217 and NH17. To make arrangements for a taxi from Airport
to Tura, contact one the taxi operators and travel agents that have
counter in the Airport.
