Children flying without a parent or legal guardian are classified as
Unaccompanied Minors (UMs). If your child is traveling alone under this service,
please ensure all safety measures are followed for a smooth and secure journey.
The Unaccompanied Minor service is available for children aged 5 to 17 years.
To arrange the service, first book your child’s flight.
• Under 5 years: Cannot travel alone; must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian at all times.
• Ages 5–11: Must use the Unaccompanied Minor service (free of charge) and be
booked on a regular adult fare.
• Ages 12–17: May travel independently on an adult ticket, or the Unaccompanied
Minor service can be purchased. Guests in this age group cannot escort another
Unaccompanied Minor. Parents under 18 can accompany infants or children if they
have valid ID.
Service Fees
• USD $100 each way for direct flights.
• USD $150 each way for connecting flights.
Changes to Travel Plans
Any flight change requires submitting a new Unaccompanied Minor request at least
24 hours before departure.
Requests made at the airport may incur extra fees.
For passengers aged 12–17, a new fee applies only if changing from a direct to a
