The abode of Gods and Goddesses, as its name goes, Deoghar is famously known as ‘Baidyanath Dhaam’. Part of the Santhal Pargana division, this district is a major Hindu pilgrimage centre. It is one of the most secret destinations in India, surrounded by ruins of many Buddhist monasteries. The nearest railway station is Baidyanathdham. The town is famous for the Baidyanath temple, among other attractions that tourists are usually drawn to.

Deoghar Airport is under construction. Currently, the construction of airport has no sign of progressing. The nearest domestic airport is Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Airport, Patna, located at a distance of 272 km from Deoghar. Cabs and private cars are easily available at the city for the airport.

Devi Kundeshwari Temple Devi Kundeshwari Temple
Located about 1 km from Chandi Hill Deoghar. The Temple also has idols of Lord Shiva & Mother Parvati, Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi and God Narayana.
 
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith
Located in the heart of Deoghar, and established in 1922, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapeeth is the oldest educational institution of the Ramakrishna Mission. It is now a senior secondary school for boys.
 
Baidyanath Temple Baidyanath Temple
Also known as Baba Baidyanath dham and Baidyanath dham is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred abodes of Shiva.
   
Shivganga Kund Shivganga Kund
A Sacred Pond located 200 m from the Baba Baidyanath Temple at Deoghar Jharkhand. Devotees take water from Shivaganga to offer to Lord Shiva at the the Baidyanath Temple.
