Situated on the banks of the River Krishna, one of the two main
rivers that flow in Karad, the Devi Krishnamai Temple is a major

terminal, which is served by the Maharashtra State Road Transport
Corporation (MSRTC) from Pune, Satara, Mumbai, Kolhapur and Solapur.
