Karad town is well known as "Dakshin
Kashi" and "Karhatak". It is also a mythological city and is believed to be
the holy city as Lord Rama stepped his feet on this land. A religious
tourist destination to visit, Karad is a small town of Satara district in
the state of Maharashtra. It is located at the confluence of Koyna River and
the Krishna River.
