Emirates
Emirates, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is part of The Emirates Group.
The airline is wholly owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, the
government’s investment arm.
Emirates is the world’s fourth-largest airline by scheduled revenue
passenger-kilometers and the second-largest by cargo tonne-kilometers. It
operates four of the longest non-stop commercial flights, linking Dubai with
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston.
As of August 2025, Emirates serves around 143 destinations across
approximately 80 countries, including India. Its cargo division, Emirates
SkyCargo, manages global freight operations.
